Sharon Yao

Sharon Yao is currently doing an MARc Religion and Literature at Yale Divinity School and will be graduating in 2024. She received a BA in English from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and was trained as a certified English teacher in Hong Kong. As an educator who is into literature, she deeply believes in the power of the arts to engage and illuminate. She loved to read books to her students and see how words on a page could let the imagination soar. At the moment, she is exploring ways to go beyond the classroom to generate and facilitate conversations that matter.
