Laura Isabel Pérez is an indigenous descendant of the Hñähñu tribe of the Otomi Nation in Hidalgo, Mexico. She holds a degree in Missional Studies with a double major in Bible and Theology at Johnson University. She is currently creating indigenous artwork rooted in biblical/indigenous theology. She has the vision to bring other peoples to honor Creator Jesus through their indigenous roots by using different forms of worship with the bridge of traditional and contemporary arts, dances, music, and poetry. She currently resides in Miami South Florida with her parents and four sisters.
